1. Check the Company you want served by checking the Florida Department of Corporations - Florida State Official Website, to verify the exact corporate name whereby you will see CT Corporation System as the Registered Agent. When you conduct your search and CT Corporation System is not listed as the R/A, DO NOT send the service documents to us as they will be rejected. CT Corporation ONLY accepts legal documents for entities that are EXACT and LISTED with the Florida Department of Corporations ONLY.

2. Direct your legal document (s) to the name of the Corporation / Entity c/o CT Corporation System – not to CT or CT Corp..

NOTE: Please place the name of Company you are directed your service to at the top and c/o CT Corporation System, Registered Agent below the Corporate Defendant / Entity name as indicated above.

3. Be sure the Corporate defendant / entity is exactly as it appears in the Florida State Corporate Records! If there is any variance to the corporate name i.e. Inc., Corp, LLC, etc, CT Corporation System will refuse service, you entity MUST BE EXACT. They will,however, accept all service of process when the name you direct your service to is correct.

NOTE: All of the above Companies may be listed along with many more in the Florida State records. If you only put "Walmart" on your service of process documents, it will be rejected. CT Corporation System does not know which Company/Defendant you are directing service to and there will only take your documents at face value and will not interpret or guess who the service should be directed to.

4. CT Corporation System does not accept on behalf of individuals. Please do not put any persons name on your service of process documents. If you name an individual, your service of process will be rejected. CT Corporation System will only accept process for the Company / Defendant Entity they represent and as it appears exactly as registered by the State of Florida - AND NOT individually
